Tickets sales went well with little advertising.People at Cruise Plus Management are excellent and help in any way possible.They want you to succeed at your fundraiser to the point of offering idea's about selling tickets.We held the draw at our Annual Skating Carnival and it was a bonus to have our winner in the stands when her name was drawn.Can't wait to do this fundraiser again. Dear Cruise Lottery, In our first year of fundraising for the Richmond Rapids Swim Club we opted to try out the Raffle for an Alaskan Cruise. While we put in a lot of effort to run a silent auction and various other fundraising activities, the Cruise Lottery required some phone work but was relatively painless in comparison. The tickets all sold and some people have heard of the lottery through other avenues (i.e. school or other sports groups) We would like to try and run 2 raffles thought our next season and time it into the season a little better than we had in our first raffle. The communication with CruisePlus has been awesome and very supportive. A BIG THANKS!! The tickets were very easy to sell and we already have people asking about next year. Our teams split the total number of tickets between them and we were done in less than 2 months. Thanks. The money raised will certainly benefit the children who play Minor Hockey in Gold River. I have been involved in Community and School sports for the past 30 years and there is always a need to fundraise. Out of all the fund raising activities that I have participated in the Cruise Lottery was by far the easiest and most satisfying. People in our community responded very favorably due to the quality of the prize and the odds. I look forward to doing this again in the near future.
