Winners receive their choice of eligible Holland America Line sailings:
- 7 Day Alaska Inside Passage Cruise for two in 2008 (only a few early or late sailings are available and “CAN BE” with another major cruise line)
- 7 Day Caribbean Cruise for two in 2008
- 7 Day Mexican Riviera Cruise for two in 2008
OR:
- If you can travel on short notice, there are usually some exceptional values for a variety of other itineraries including Canada/New England sailings and more (For Canada/New England sailings, winners receieve a $2000 CAD credit).

There will be one grand prize winner for each license. The prize winner receives their choice of what is listed above. Alaska sailings may be with Holland America Line or another major cruise line. The winner is able to choose between one of the pre-selected dates set by CruiseLottery or to take the $2000 CAD credit. If they choose to use a cruise line other than Holland America Line, or go on a sailing date that has not been pre-selected by CruiseLottery, a $2000 credit will be put towards the posted retail cost of that cruise for two people. The $2000 credit is the total credit, and includes all port charges, NDA's and taxes. Winners must clearly understand that if they choose a sailing or a stateroom category different than what is offered on the pre selected cruise list, that all these factors must be taken into account.
The stateroom type for pre-selected cruises will be outside (minimum category or similar), and will be for two passengers (of which at least one must be of age to bring the second (based on cruise line rules), and both must be legally able and have proper acceptable identification to enter and leave Canada and the United States as well as any countries on the itinerary chosen). Port charges and taxes are included in the prize.
There is no optional cash buy out for the winner. The winner must provide CruisePlus with all passengers names, addresses, and phone numbers at the time of booking. Any changes after this date may be made at a cost of approximately $150.00 – 200.00 CAD per name. Cruiselottery winners cannot combine their credit with any other promotions including those for CruisePlus Rewards members.
Winners will pay the difference if they choose to upgrade to higher category staterooms or choose to cruise on a date not on our pre selected list. Winners are responsible to pay if they would like to add 3rd and 4th passengers (providing space is available). Airfare, on board spending, gratuities, tours and insurance (which we highly recommend) is not included in the prize.

The sailings listed above are subject to availability at the time of booking and based on contracted prices we have negotiated with the cruise line – which can be withdrawn by the cruise line without notice (this is rare to happen if booked at least 120 days in advance). Besides these sailings, there are often many other choices. CruiseLottery manager Nicola Jones will work with the winners to give them a full list of current available sailings to pick from.
